I had a pimple and I popped it about a week ago. Now, it's an open sore and has been for a good many days. What are some things I can do to get rid of it and help cover it up until it goes away?How do I heal an open sore from acne?

keep it clean and try to find an acne cleanser that also doubles as a cover up. you can buy (although it's kind of expensive) something called Physicians Formula make-up. If it's red, they sell a make-up powder that is green. I know it sounds funny, but I use it sometimes when my face gets splotchy. Also try putting a hot tea bag on your acne spot. It will draw out what is left and reduce the swelling.

I have found if you put triple antibiotic ointment on it. which you can find at like a drug store.





it speeds the healing process.





however i am looking for an even faster way.

you can buy a prodcut that is a clear liquid band-aid. i believe it's at target. then you could probably just cover it up with make-up yo.

I ice it with one ice cube, do it at nigh because the coldness sometimes makes your face red for a couple minutes. To cover it up use liquid foundation just on the trouble spot then powder you whole face
let it heal... try not to cover it with makeup although i know thats hard not to. Try vitamin e or an over the counter antibiotic cream.
Put some Neosporin on it while you sleep, then mix some lotion with your concealer and put that over it during the day.

1st.. stop popping them unless you like scars.


2nd. wash it out with peroxide and then put a sterile dressing on it. ( a band aid will work it put on right.
