i am a teenager (17 girl) and my acne is not severe, but I do get blackheads around my nose and chin. Also get red, pus filled, hurting pimples in the same areas, sometimes on my forehead. You could just crush up some aspirin and put it on your face. too. Same thing basically.
Try Clean and Clear by Neutrogena...but whatever you do, do not get ProActive...it's expensive and it does not work whatsoever (in fact, it just made mine worse)...with your drug store acne treatment, make sure to wash your face daily with soap, water, and a washcloth (tissues or washing with your hands does not get the dirt out of your pores) and, every other day, try a home remedy of brown sugar and oatmeal face spread. Mix oatmeal, a bit of water, and a sprinkling of brown sugar into a bowl. Gently dab the mixture onto your face, not to think, but not too skimpy, either...Leave on for about 5 or 7 minutes, then wash off, using soap and water to make sure you get it all off. This oatmeal and brown cugar mix will make your face softer, more fragrant, and also help dry up acne...If you get bumps or zits, then spread some toothpaste on the pimples and leave it overnight (sounds wierd, but it really works, trust me!)

Maybe just plain baking soda scrub every 2-3 days apart will help out.
