I heard acne is increased by certain foundations, does the same go for this one?

I have heard that foundation will actually increase acne. Does the same go for powder foundations? I use Loreal Bare Naturals, is this safe to use on my face?I heard acne is increased by certain foundations, does the same go for this one?
You need a foundation that says ';Non-comodegenic'; that means it won't clog pores and cause breakouts.I heard acne is increased by certain foundations, does the same go for this one?
This isn't true. If you have acne maybe a brand may cause it or make it worse for some people, but not for all who use that same brand. It's a matter of finding one that works for you. For example, a person with oily skin may have acne, but a person can have oily skin without acne. You just have to watch how your skin reacts to the L'Oreal. If you have breakouts, then you will need to try a different foundation. Also, people often think that foundation causes clogged pores but this isn't really true. Dirt and bacteria are floating in the air, so as soon as a person goes outside they are exposed to it. That's why it's important to cleanse your skin regularly, whether you wear makeup or not.
A lot of foundations, including some mineral foundations, WILL clog your pores. Loreal Bare Naturales is included in this list of foundations that WILL clog your pores. this is because many foundations, including some mineral foundations, have an ingredient called Bismuth Oxycholoride. This ingredient not only clogs your pores, but it also can cause skin irriation. Other mineral foundations include other ingredients that will clog your pores%
All foundation has the potential to cause acne if it's not washed off at the end of the day, but beyond that, it varies from person to person because of their sensitivities and allergies. No foundation breaks EVERYONE out, so if you've been using L'Oreal Bare Naturals and it hasn't given you acne, then keep using it because you're fine. Hope that helps! Good luck!
That will depend on your skin.

No one reacts the same to all foundations.

For me, that foundation burned my skin due to the bismuth oxychloride.

For others with acne, they have found this foundation to not clog their pores.

The only reason a foundation can cause acne is if it has ingredients that are well known to clog our pores, or that your skin is allergic to.
powder base foundations are usually used to set a liquid foundation if you need coverage on your face try using a water based foundation such as maybelline pure makeup then try setting it yes a mineral based powder the reason some foundations cause worse acne is cause there oil based and can clog the pores even more. hope this helps a bit but by just using powder your not gonna be covering up all that much
I heard powder will also clog your pores.

Unless the makeup is a mineral powder.

But everyone's skin is different, all you can do it try it out and see what works for you.
Probably not.. it sounds like it's cheap. NEVER USE COVERGIRL! It has the worst quality of all makeup brands becuase it's cheap. Estee Lauder and bareMinerals are good quality brands and not too costly.
as long as it is mineral based you are fine. but if ou have acne you might want to try a foundation such as Neutrogena skin clearing to get rid of it
Foundation clogs the pores.

Powder is ';safer'; to use on acne prone skin.
