Go to the dermatologist. Your talking to someone who has suffered from terrible acne for four years. They put you on pills/washes depending on your condtion. If something doesn't work, they raise you up a level more and more until something works. I'm on accutane, the highest level of acne control that you can only get if nothing else works. I garuntee you they will find something that works for you.
ps, i used proactiv, it didnt work. trust me with the dermatologist thing. its changing my life. What's a really good way to get rid of acne?
Ask a dermatologist.
i had a friend in high school that had it real bad. he was told by his doctor to wash with phisoderm 3 times a day. it did work for him. i think it all depends on your skin type as well. try jafra as well. of course you have to find someone who sells it. great product
you would need to talk to your doctor for a prescription because your skin is ';getting used'; to your treatments
you need to stay away from oil. Especially mineral oil. Make sure you use hand lotion, that will not clogg your pores, you can touch your face and you can get pimples. Also shampoo, make sure it is not full of oil's. I like Suave clayifying, or suave aloe shampoo. With min. conditioner. I really like Purpose soap, and Basis soap. You can purchase these at any store and not expensive. The key thing is to keep oil products under control.
wash you face alot. keep hair away from your face, dont touch your face too much, stuff like that. thanx for yer answer by the way. oh yeah if you get a washcloth, just soak it in hellllllllllllllllllllla hot water and put it on your face when you can stand the heat. it opens up pores, then you could use an acne wipe thats got salisylic acid in it, like oxy.
You need to be more patient and maybe allow time. Pro Active is a great product although three steps. There is no cure in one step besides medications to stop acne. You usually have to give cream treatments a month to work, using them consistently on a daily basis. You will see fantastic results in the first week and then it will look as though it is not working as the estringent in these creams draws the pimples out in an attempt to clean the skin. Another thing you should be doing is make sure you drink lots of water to make sure your body is hydrated and blood clean of any impurities
Facial turmeric powder (kasthuri manual) – 1 spoon, honey – ½ spoon, few drops of olive oil, curd – ½ spoon, table salt – ¼ spoon. Mix these items to make a paste and apply on your face. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
STRIDEX!! WIPE YOUR FACE WITH A PAD A DAY SOON IT WILL GO AWAY! ONLY 1 STEP TREATMENT. PROACTIV IS 3 STEPS.
Well even if you just want to use Proactive face wash it is really the best thing out there other then going to the dermotologist and getting acutane (which works also I did this) but its sort of a hassle...try Proactive face wash...
Well I have acne too. I nothing I have tried seems to clear it completely, but I do know that make-up makes me break out. Maybe it's the same for you. I used to wear makeup all the time then I got really sick and I didn't wear any makeup for about two weeks and my acne improved a lot. Also, make sure to wash your face every night before you go to bed, sleeping with an oily face is the worst for your skin. Changing your pillow case often also helps.
I know you said you didn't like the three steps, but have you tried Proactiv? I think that's howit's spelt, it's a really good acne fash wash system, I had horrible acne, and I used it and mine started going away within the first few weeks. So I would give that a try, if now, I would go see a dermatoligist and see what they reccomend.
Drink lots of water , wash your face in the mornings and at night then after washing your face use a acne cream. When washing your face a facial scrub usually helps, and if theres stilll a problem with acne go to a dermatoligist
Hi Stephanie,
it's important to inform yourself first before buying any wrong solution. Products like e.g. accutane or proactiv (and those pills doctors prescribe) are aggressive and can cause damages to you and your skin since they contain harmful ingredients.
Your best bet would be to check out

Make sure you bookmark it for future reference.
This is one of the very few products out there which really treats the acne problem at its roots from inside and out, no matter which kind of acne you have. Without damaging your skin, all natural.
I've literally wasted hundreds on other ';miracles'; but this one is highly efficient and that's what only counts for me. It should also help you get rid of your acne in a breeze.
Hope that helps.
All the best,
Melinda
Go to your doctor and get tetracycline.
If that doesn't work, ask for acutane. Just be careful not to get pregnant taking that because you'd have a mutant baby.
If you don't like that, pop you zits early. Open 'em up with a needle, squeeze the crap out, and wipe it down with rubbing alcohol. At worst, you'll have tiny scabs for a day or two, which is a hell of a lot better than growing a pustule as big as your eyeball.
One of my friends in high school listened to his doctor and didn't pop his zits, and one on his nose got humungous. A little white knob was sticking out of the middle of it, like it was begging to be popped. Then one day he sneezed and it popped on its own and shot all over the place. Some got on my glasses.
I should have done him a favor, tackled him, and popped before it got that out of hand.
Try using Pro active it works. Or ask your dermatologist.
Cut down on fatty foods, go to Walmart and pick up a good facial cleaner, wash everyday, and keep down on stress.
the fact is with acne, you cannot have clean healthy skin in one step. studies have shown that one of the most common instigators of acne is the bodies failure to shed its dead skin. i reccomend finding a good wash - DO NOT USE SOAP. soap cleanse too much off your skin and will strip the good with the bad. follow with an exfoliant - some combine these two steps. and you need a moisture. moisture keeps skin healthy and will really show the older you get. unfortunately if you want good skin, some of us just have to work for it.
What are you washing your face with?
Have you tried any of the face pads for SENSITIVE SKIN?
theres no better treatment than soap and water scrub the area really good with a wet cloth should help if its really bad use a mixture of soap water and a little 50% rubbing alcohol
Hygiene, rly. Wash your face a lot. It totalli helps. With soap.

Pimple Or Acne Cure!
Just Follow The Four Steps Below
1. Use no soap of any kind on your face! 2. Do not squeeze the skin on your face, or rub your face with your hands, wash cloth or towel 3. Use no creams, ointments, or medicines on your face, [except antibiotic ointments], they are not needed, but they can be used, and they can be purchased at the grocery store: (if you are someone that shaves); go ahead and apply a thin coat of an antibiotic ointment after you shave, over the area where you have shaved. 4. With water only; cold or cool, gently with your hands once a day, clean your face; [do not use hot water]: pat dry with soft towel. Follow the above instructions to the letter or completely and your acne or pimples should be gone in from one to two months; but for this to happen, (you must follow the above instructions)! Keep the commandments and seek the Lord with all your heart! Believe in the lord jesus christ and you will be saved. Acts 16:31
Warning!! What I'm about to say sounds disgusting %26amp; experts may advise against it...but it works!! Really good acutally. Buy some yeast infection cream.Since it sounds like you have sensitive skin, get the 7 day treatment. Not the anti-itch cream, the actual medication. Use it as a spot treatment. If you don't have any handy, use hemmordial cream. Which can be found at the 99cents only stores if your state has them. My only other advice to you is not to get addicted because it works fast %26amp; leaves no scar. My peers, family %26amp; myself have used it for years. It kills the bacteria from the zit.
